I enjoy having a Fruit Smoothie for my lunch. I generally incorporate any type of frozen fruit such as blueberries, raspberries, peaches, blackberries with about 1/2 cup of skim milk and  5 tablespoons of Protein Whey.  Lately, I have been trying to make the liquid meal more nutritious so I decided to experiment with Soft, Silken Tofu.  Tofu is an excellent protein source.  I looked online for recipes but didn't come up with too many so I made my own.  Here is my favorite.

Put the following ingredients in a food processor or blender:

1 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup skim milk a little more if you like a more liquid drink
2-4 tablespoons 100% proten whey
1/4 cup Soft Silken Tofu

Blend all ingredients together. If the fruit gets stuck on the bottom, stop the blender and mix with a spoon and continue blending.

I enjoy the smoothie with tofu because it gives it a creamy consistency almost like frozen yogurt.  Experiment with combinations of frozen and fresh fruits to discover your favorite fruit smoothie. I am going to experiment with dark chocolate and tofu as well. I think a very nice pudding type dessert could be created with the tofu and chocolate and maybe fresh or frozen raspberries.
